I subscribe to the Scientific American magazine, too. The latest medical treatments are discussed within it. You might what to tell the doctor something of a new treatment that he might not be aware of its existence.

When you purchase a digital subscription its a timed subscription, you cant go back and reread magazines you digitally purchased. You have to buy them again, individually. They are not like say a paper magazine you keep is yours and reread whenever. Grrrrr!

I find these types of magazines very interesting -- a perfect read on my iPad when traveling.

SciAm journals always have interesting content, always something new to learn -- even in topics where 8 have significant expertise.
